Staycation at Point A Hotels – Shoreditch + fun at Ballie Ballerson

Staycation at Point A Hotels – Shoreditch + fun at Ballie Ballerson

“Staycation” was really needed! This is a really intense time for us. Looking for a new flat in London can be exhausting.

So when we had a chance to run away from all these responsibilities, put all this formal and adult stuff on the side, we were more than excited. We decided to just enjoy our stay and explore London more. And forget about chores and flat searching just for the weekend.

We stayed at Point A Hotels in Shoreditch and besides having a great, long sleep, we had really much fun. There’s no better way to escape adulting than going to an adult playground! I’ll explain that later but I believe me, you need to try this!

But firstly, a few things about our stay.

Rooms are really nice and clean, staff were nice and welcoming, the location is great – close to all nice and funky places that Shoreditch has to offer, great transport links to the centre of London and all the touristic spots. Oh, and there is breakfast included. Fresh pastries, fruits, little desserts, cereal sets. All you need to fuel yourself before another great London adventures and sightseeing. Could you ask for more?

They are so affordable! You can book your stay from £69 per night and in London, it’s quite a bargain! You can book your stay by clicking here. It’s a really great option for a few days trip to London.

I can highly recommend you joining the A-List – members receive 10% off their first booking and more offers and deals that will help you save some money and enjoy your stay even more!

You can find them in a few locations in London – Shoreditch, where we stayed, but also in Westminster, Paddington, Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street, Kings Cross & St’Pancras but also in Glasgow.

And to confirm my opinion, you can just check their great reviews at TripAdvisor!  Me and more than 1200 people can’t go wrong.

A-List experience at Ballie Ballerson

Not so far away from the hotel, you can find a great place to have a drink but mostly – to have some fun and feel like a kid again.

What would you say about sipping some champagne and then diving into a big ball pit? Yes, that definitely sounds like fun! This is the only ball pit cocktail bar in London, filled with over one million balls!

Besides that, you’ll be surrounded by great music, neon wall arts, and oh, of course – flower wall!

Bear in mind that this experience is only for adults!

You can buy your tickets here! Few various options are available – you can even hire this venue for a birthday party, hen do or team night out. Great option!

Here are a few tips and places you should visit when in Shoreditch.

Firstly, it’s street art – this area is like heaven for your eyes. Everywhere you can find amazing murals and spray painted art pieces. It definitely deserves a separate blog post.

Where to eat?

It’s not the fanciest place to eat, but you need to try those bagels! They are simply the best. If you like salt beef bagels then you’ll love them, but – little alert – be careful with mustard – it tastes like edible pepper spray, hahaha!

I can highly recommend visiting Paper Cup – little coffee shop with the whole wall filled with books to read while sipping your cappuccino. And the coffee is amazing – no wonder why they were featured so many times on many websites as one of the best cafes in London.

Go funky

You can also try this popular rose latte at Aida Shoreditch – cafe inside the clothing store. But be careful, this beautiful pink colour is made with beetroot powder, and I hated it. And it was definitely too sweet for me. Did it for the gram – guilty as charged – but you can’t blame me – it looks gorgeous, haha!

If you like plants, then you’ll love visiting the most popular Flower Market on Columbia Road. It’s only opened on Sundays and it’s realllyyyy crowded. But definitely worth a visit. I’m always bringing some plant from this market – this time we bought a Pilea plant. It should bring you money. They say you make your own luck, so why not! Fingers crossed!

We were kindly invited to enjoy our stay at Point A Hotels and have some fun at Ballie Ballerson,
but all of these opinions are my own. Thank you for this opportunity to discover this area all over again!
